Privacy Policy
Prism · Effective 22 September 2026
Prism does not collect any data. The app ships without the
Android INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of
sending anything anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that gather information about you or your device.
What stays on your phone
To remember your progress, Prism saves a small file in the app's private storage on your device:
- stars earned on each level and the last level you played,
- hints left, your daily-puzzle streak and endless-mode depth,
- your settings (sound, vibration, colour-blind mode).
This file never leaves your phone. Prism also switches off Android's own app backup, so your progress is never copied to a Google account either. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset progress inside the game, and it is removed together with the app when you uninstall it.
Because nothing is stored anywhere else, moving to a new phone is up to you: Settings → Back up progress copies your save to the clipboard as a short code, and Restore from a code reads it back. The code is plain text that only you handle — Prism never sends it anywhere.
The daily puzzle
Everyone gets the same daily puzzle because it is built on your phone from the calendar date. No server is involved.
Permissions
Prism requests no permissions. You can confirm this on the app's Google Play listing under App permissions, or in Settings → Apps → Prism → Permissions on your device.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects nothing from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling data, this page will be updated before that version is published, and the effective date above will change.
